About The Position

Villatel Resort Orlando is a villa-style resort on International Drive, minutes from Universal Orlando and part of the Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy collection. We're built for families and groups who want more than a hotel room: multi-bedroom villas, Aqua Bay Waterpark, Aqua Bar & Grille, and seasonal experiences like the Haunted Villa and Santa’s Cabana that make the resort an Instagram-able destination in its own right. Our voice is premium but never stiff, and our content should make people feel the splash, the sunset, and the room to spread out. The Role We're looking for a Social Media Manager to fully own how Villatel shows up online, from the everyday organic feed to the ad creative behind our paid campaigns and the creator partnerships that bring our resort to new audiences. This is a hands-on role for someone who can pick up a phone and capture a reel at the pool in the morning, then turn that footage into scroll-stopping creative and brief an influencer in the afternoon.

Requirements

2+ years of social media experience, ideally in hospitality, travel, tourism, or lifestyle brands.
A portfolio of social creative, especially short-form video and carousels for travel, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
Experience with managing influencer or brand partnerships.
Strong short-form video skills: shooting and editing on mobile with CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar.
Excellent writing with a sharp ear for brand voice and platform-native tone.
Comfort with analytics and scheduling tools
Highly organized, able to juggle a content calendar, creative deadlines, and live partnerships at once.
Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends for events, creator stays, and seasonal activations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with branded or franchised hospitality (Marriott, Hilton, etc.) and working within brand guidelines.
Familiarity with the Orlando tourism landscape and theme park audiences.
Photography, drone, or basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, Lightroom).
Familiarity with ad specs and creative best practices across Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese.

Responsibilities

Build and run the monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, aligned to occupancy goals, seasonal offers, and on-property events.
Shoot, edit, and publish short-form video, photography, and stories on property, capturing guest moments, amenities, food and beverage, and seasonal programming.
Write captions in Villatel Resort’s brand voice: specific, sensory, and scene-setting rather than generic hospitality language.
Manage community engagement daily, responding to comments and DMs, flagging service issues to guest relations, and reposting user-generated content with permission.
Keep an eye on trends, formats, and audio, and move quickly when something fits the brand.
Concept, shoot, and edit video and carousel ads for paid campaigns on Meta and other platforms.
Write ad copy and headlines that fit platform specs, including tight mobile character limits.
Produce creative for seasonal and promotional pushes such as summer, Halloween and Halloween Horror Nights season, holiday and cultural-holiday packages, and group and event travel.
Deliver multiple creative variations for testing, sized and formatted correctly for each placement.
Work with the paid media team to understand creative briefs and refresh creative based on the feedback they share.
Source, vet, and recruit creators in family travel, Orlando and theme park, lifestyle, food, and local Central Florida niches.
Negotiate terms and manage partnerships from outreach through contracts, stay coordination, content briefs, approvals, and payment.
Host creator stays on property in coordination with operations, making sure every visit is set up to produce great content.
Build a repeatable creator program with an evergreen roster and seasonal activations, and flag top-performing creator content that could be repurposed for ads.
Measure partnership impact through reach, engagement, content quality, and attributable bookings.
Keep all content consistent with Villatel Resort’s brand standards and Marriott Bonvoy brand and partner guidelines.
Deliver monthly organic and creator performance reports with clear takeaways and recommendations, not just numbers.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, revenue management, F&B, and on-property teams to surface stories and support business priorities.
