About The Position

McLaurin Law is a Houston plaintiff-side firm representing Texas policyholders in insurance coverage disputes, injured people in personal injury cases, and property owners and contractors in construction litigation. We are a technology-first law firm that builds its own AI systems, automates processes, and measures performance. We are value-driven and operate as a meritocracy where results and ownership are prioritized over tenure or title. Our founder's background in the insurance industry provides a unique perspective that shapes our approach to case evaluation, client communication, and marketing. This role inherits a well-defined marketing strategy focused on fast lead flow through Google Local Services Ads and vetted paid lead sources, a structured referral partner program, local search optimization with targeted content, video production utilizing AI tools, a consistent social media presence, email marketing for lead nurturing and client engagement, in-house SEO, and targeted offline marketing. The position also requires alignment with intake processes to ensure all leads are tracked and managed effectively.

  • Experience building or managing a referral or business-development program with demonstrable results.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate attorney explanations into clear, plain-English content for clients.
  • Comfort with AI tools and a curiosity for leveraging them in marketing.
  • Proficiency with CRM and spreadsheet software; experience with Clio Grow, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Airtable, Slack, and Microsoft 365 is a plus.
  • Sound judgment regarding attorney advertising rules, client confidentiality, and the need for substantiation of claims.
  • A preference for evidence-based reporting over vanity metrics.
