•$25 - $30

About The Position

Caraway is seeking a Social Media Contractor for a five-month, project-based independent consulting engagement from November 2026 to March 2027, with the possibility of conversion. The contractor will support execution and performance tracking for Caraway’s existing social media program, ensuring content is published accurately, reports are maintained, and performance insights are shared with the internal team. Caraway’s internal Social team will continue to lead strategy, creative development, and community engagement; the contractor will focus on executional support, reporting, and system maintenance within established workflows and processes. The work includes publishing content from a pre-defined calendar across social platforms, adapting existing content for secondary channels, maintaining quality control, and organizing social assets. The contractor will produce recurring performance reports, maintain dashboards and tracking systems, monitor trends and competitor activity, and support day-to-day social operations, campaigns, launches, and initiatives. Light content editing and caption writing may also be needed. This is a non-employee, 1099 independent contractor engagement, compensated at $25–$30 per hour as a professional services fee rather than salary. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits.
