About the position
Songfinch is seeking a social media coordinator to lead all social media publishing and scheduling for their owned presence across platforms. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience in social media or digital marketing, experience with social channels, and the ability to understand and improve key organic social media metrics. They will be responsible for planning, curating, writing, and scheduling social media posts, managing the daily publishing of social content, executing the channel-specific content strategy, and preparing social reports to evaluate the success of organic social campaigns. The role reports to the Head of Content and requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, curate, write, and schedule social media posts in the content calendar and social media management platforms (SproutSocial, Twitter Media Studio, Meta Business Suite, among others).
- Manage the daily publishing of social content on Songfinch’s owned social channels including, but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud, & GIPHY.
- Execute the channel-specific content strategy while taking any necessary steps to ensure Songfinch is a best-in-class brand in the content space.
- Brainstorm & create vibrant content (think projects like eccentric TikTok videos, Instagram takeovers, or sound trends).
- Stay up to date with social media trends and platform updates that impact our publishing tactics and/or hashtag strategy.
- Prepare social reports to evaluate the success of organic social campaigns, present them to stakeholders, and optimize strategy in partnership with the Head of Content.
- Collaborate with Brand, Content, Growth, Customer Services, and teams to create social promotion plans for upcoming brand campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in social media or digital marketing
- Experience with social channels, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube with the ability to understand and improve key organic social media metrics
- Experience using platforms like Asana, Sprout Social, Google Analytics (or other social publishing platforms)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- People oriented - proven experience working as a part of the team with common goals
- Interest in music a plus!
