Senior Engineer - Customer Engagement - MarTech Enablement, Content & Analytics

We are seeking a curious and accomplished technology leader to join our team at Songfinch. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Technology organization, working closely with various departments such as marketing, product, and design. Your responsibilities will include owning key projects for Customer Engagement, making technical architecture decisions, and driving the delivery of successful marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shape the creative vision of our rapidly growing business and contribute to our mission of delivering millions of dollars to passionate artists.

Partner with various departments (marketing, product, operations) to scale engineering velocity by providing dedicated bandwidth to accomplish our customer engagement product goals

Launch new product experiences and connect crucial reporting and analytics loops (confidential for now, but can divulge more in process!)

Own technical architecture decisions for our Marketing Technologies stack and help drive projects to production with your team

In partnership with operations and marketing, deliver highly successful marketing campaigns, leveraging new product and platform APIs and features

Help grow the department by 200% over the next year assisting in hiring process and decisions across technology

Support our mission of delivering 10s of millions of dollars direct to pockets of hard working, passionate artists

• 7+ years of industry experience in customer facing frontend driven or fullstack development roles
• Experience in e-commerce or other consumer facing products
• 5+ years of experience working with e-commerce, CDPs, or other user behavior tracking conversion driven systems
• Ability to own development projects and draft technical architecture
• Experience in building and delivering engaging and personalized customer facing experiences
• Ability to participate in product scoping efforts with non-technical teams
• Strong technical skills in Vue.js, Rails, Python, K8s, Segment, CustomerIO, Amplitude, Blender, and Zendesk
• Familiarity with Heroku and AWS deployment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work closely with product, design, marketing, and business partners
