About the position
The Media Planner will join the Performance Marketing Team at Songfinch to execute, report, and optimize paid social media campaigns. They will be responsible for campaign setup and management on platforms such as Meta, Google, and TikTok, with a focus on driving customer acquisition and maximizing return on ad spend. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in paid media, a strong understanding of tracking tools and analytics, and excellent communication skills. They will work closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist and the data team to develop campaigns, analyze performance, and forecast sales.
Responsibilities
- Run campaigns on paid social media platforms
- Set up and manage campaigns on paid social media platforms
- Provide insight into targeting, creative, or landing page tests that unlock performance
- Work cross-functionally with the creative team to develop new ideas and landing pages for personalized customer experiences
- Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, spend, and ROAS
- Be accountable for executing responsibilities and asking for help when needed
- Have 2-3 years of experience in paid media with large budgets, with an emphasis on Google
- Have a strong understanding of UTMs, attribution, pixels, and other tracking tools
- Use Amplitude, Segment, Google Analytics, and social platforms to gather data
- Handle ambiguous analytical situations, make and evaluate assumptions, and present findings to others
- Have excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, with an understanding of how to tell a story through data
- Preferably located in Chicago
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in paid media with large budgets, with an emphasis on Google
- Strong understanding of UTMs, attribution, pixels, and other tracking tools
- Experience leveraging Amplitude, Segment, Google Analytics, and social platforms to gather data
- Experience with ambiguous analytical situations, making and evaluating assumptions, and presenting findings to others
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills along with an understanding of how to tell a story through data
- Chicago location preferred
