About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a part-time SOC Operator in Plano, Texas. The role involves CCTV surveillance, access control for employees and vendors, alarm monitoring, and incident investigation. Operators help maintain a safe and secure work environment while interacting professionally and courteously. They observe and survey the assigned area, report activity, respond rapidly to critical situations, and enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards. The position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to prepare detailed reports. The schedule varies, and candidates must have open availability. Compensation is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with computers, Google Suite, and Microsoft applications.
• Minimum associate degree in criminal justice or an associated field.
• High school education or GED.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 21 years of age, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• State security license or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
• Stable work history and reliable transportation.
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
• Open availability for a varying shift schedule.

Nice To Haves

• SOC experience is highly preferred.
• Prior access-control experience, including Genetec security desk/cameras, alarm monitoring, or Lenel systems.
• Security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
