Full-Time SOC Operator
About The Position
Securitas is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to support daily security operations at a client site in Framingham, Massachusetts. The role monitors security systems, responds to alarms and incidents, and helps maintain a safe and secure environment. The position requires comfort working with technology, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment. Two overnight schedules are listed, both Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (40 hours per week). One schedule is for a SOC Operator. The other combines SOC Operator and Lobby Officer duties, with Lobby Officer shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and SOC Operator shifts on Monday and Tuesday. The position is hybrid. The pay rate is $22.40 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow established procedures and communicate information accurately.
- Professionalism and a strong commitment to safety and security.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Security Operations Center, command center, dispatch, or security-related role.
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, or incident management systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in accordance with established procedures.
- Receive, assess, and communicate alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, security activities, and responses in daily logs and incident reports.
- Monitor access control activity and identify and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Communicate with security officers, site leadership, emergency responders, and other departments as needed.
- Follow established protocols for emergency situations, incident escalation, and response.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and security-related communications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support site security operations.
