About The Position

Securitas is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to support daily security operations at a client site in Framingham, Massachusetts. The role monitors security systems, responds to alarms and incidents, and helps maintain a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, communicates effectively, and remains calm and focused in a fast-paced environment. The position pays $22.40 per hour and offers two Sunday-through-Thursday overnight schedules, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (40 hours per week). One schedule is for a SOC Operator. The other combines SOC Operator and Lobby Officer duties: Lobby Officer shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and SOC Operator shifts on Monday and Tuesday. The position is described as hybrid.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to follow established procedures and communicate information accurately.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a Security Operations Center, command center, dispatch, or security-related role.
Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, or incident management systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents according to established procedures.
Receive, assess, and communicate alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, security activities, and responses in daily logs and incident reports.
Monitor access control activity and identify and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Communicate with security officers, site leadership, emergency responders, and other departments as needed.
Follow established protocols for emergency situations, incident escalation, and response.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and security-related communications.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support site security operations.
For the combined SOC Operator/Lobby Officer schedule, work as a Lobby Officer on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as a SOC Operator on Monday and Tuesday.
