About The Position

The Senior Business Domain Data Modeler will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data models that accurately represent business requirements. This role involves enhancing existing data models to improve efficiency, data quality, and user-friendliness. The position requires performing regular data reconciliation tasks to identify and resolve discrepancies, monitoring and improving data quality, and implementing and validating business rules to ensure compliance. The Data Modeler will also be responsible for ensuring that all business rules and logic changes are accurately reflected across the data architecture, and testing/validating changes using the Validatar tool. Opportunities for data enhancements to improve data quality and efficiency will be identified and implemented. The role also includes maintaining thorough documentation of all data processes, changes, and enhancements, assisting with the design and modification of the EASE Data Warehouse Solution, and creating/optimizing data models to support health information analytics. Collaboration with the Analytics Manager, Data Scientists, and EASE users is expected for developing and designing Information Marts to support self-service for business queries and data visualization. The position may also involve creating documentation and/or training materials for new users and providing operational support for Business Intelligence Tools.

Requirements

At least 5 years of Data warehouse modeling experience
Cloud Architecture skills
3 years of SQL experience
2 years of WhereScape RED and 3D experience
1 year of Snowflake experience
BA or BS in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Extremely strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent speaking and writing skills

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain data models that accurately represent business requirements.

Create and optimize data models to support health information analytics.
