About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Modeler / Data Architect – Snowflake & Data Warehousing position for our client. This is a remote, 5-month contract role. The position involves developing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models, creating dimensional and Data Vault models, and defining business entities and data structures. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models, while supporting data architecture, engineering, and cloud data warehouse initiatives. A strong understanding of data modeling principles, relational database concepts, and SQL is essential, along with familiarity with data warehousing concepts like star and snowflake schemas. Excellent communication and analytical skills are necessary. Healthcare/Medicaid experience is considered a plus.

Requirements

  • Conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Dimensional modeling and Data Vault methodologies.
  • Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud data warehousing platforms such as Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Basic relational database concepts, including normalization, entity-relationship diagrams, keys, and constraints.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
