About The Position

Christian Brothers Outdoor Services is hiring seasonal, on-call Snow Plow Truck Drivers in Grant, Michigan for the upcoming winter season. Drivers operate plow trucks to clear assigned customer routes and help keep properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events. This is a 24/7 on-call position during snow and ice events. Drivers must respond when called, report within the required response window, and remain available for assigned storm operations. Work may occur overnight, early in the morning, on weekends, or on holidays.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Ability to safely operate a truck and plow in snow and icy conditions.
Strong backing, visibility, and property-awareness skills.
Reliable attendance and prompt response during storm events.
Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Ability to remain alert and professional during extended storm operations.
24/7 on-call availability during snow and ice events.

Nice To Haves

Previous plow truck or winter driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a plow truck and attached snow equipment.
Complete pre-trip, truck, and plow inspections before leaving the yard.
Test plow functions, lights, brakes, tires, mirrors, fluids, and visible connections.
Follow assigned routes, site maps, priorities, and snow-stacking instructions.
Clear all assigned areas to the required service standard before leaving.
Operate carefully around curbs, islands, vehicles, buildings, landscaping, and pedestrians.
Immediately report damage, breakdowns, unsafe conditions, delays, and route concerns.
Complete post-storm cleaning, inspection, fueling, and equipment reporting.
Follow storm communication and safety procedures.
Respond to calls or messages, report as directed, and remain available during assigned storm operations.
