About The Position
The Town of Westford Highway Department is seeking qualified snowplow operators to drive town equipment for snow removal during the 2026–2027 season. The work is seasonal, part-time, and performed on an as-needed, on-call basis. Applicants must have a valid Class D driver’s license, a good driving record, prior plowing experience, and familiarity with Westford streets. Compensation is based on experience: $38 per hour for 1–2 years, $40 per hour for 3–5 years, and $42 per hour for 5 or more years. After 12 hours of continuous plowing, the rates are $43, $45, and $47 per hour, respectively.
