About The Position

As a Smart Home Consultant on ADT’s Field Operations team, you help residential customers design and set up smart home security solutions that meet their needs. The position combines in-home consultation and hands-on installation with consultative sales. You install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products; integrate new products with customers’ existing setups; and explain how to use ADT’s app and product features. You also troubleshoot technical questions, provide proactive support, and identify opportunities to strengthen customers’ home protection.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with smart device ecosystems and connected technologies.
• Ability to understand how multiple products interact within a home network.
• Ability to advise customers on system design and setup that supports their safety goals.
• Ability to learn continuously and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Ability to climb, lift 10 or more pounds, and work indoors and outdoors in varied conditions.
