About The Position

The Slot Technician supports technology across the casino floor, including gaming machines and network infrastructure. The role ensures electronic gaming machines (EGMs), Historical Horse Racing (HHR) machines, point-of-sale systems, surveillance, and other technology systems operate smoothly, working with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of networking and PC troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and with teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in an active, variable environment; exposure to secondhand smoke and loud environments may occur.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a casino or hospitality environment.
• Network certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, retire, and troubleshoot HHR electronic gaming machines.
• Set up and maintain Casino Management System (CMS) data and tools.
• Support and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, and wiring.
• Install and support PCs, ticket redemption machines, and ATMs.
• Maintain audiovisual equipment, TVs, sound systems, and media players.
• Ensure the functionality of security systems, including surveillance and access control.
• Work with vendors and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document network layouts and configurations.
