About The Position

The Slot Technician ensures that products on the gaming floor are in correct working order by diagnosing faulty equipment and making appropriate repairs. The position uses machine-entry procedures to proactively identify or prevent equipment problems, maintains repair and other operational logs, and safely operates hand tools, soldering tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment. The technician completes machine moves and other assigned projects, responds to floor calls according to established standards, and develops a basic understanding of parts ordering and stocking systems. The role also requires maintaining current knowledge of Company events and promotions to answer guests’ questions, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 6 months of experience and/or training as a slot technician or in related experience or training.
• Knowledge of desktop publishing and graphics software.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, kneel, twist, and grip tools for a full 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations relevant to slot operations.

Nice To Haves

• A strong electronics/mechanical background is preferred.

• Develop a basic understanding of parts ordering and stocking systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Company events and promotions and answer guests’ questions accordingly.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
