About The Position

Oxford Casino Hotel is seeking a Slot Attendant to join their team. The casino offers a variety of gaming options, restaurants, and a hotel. The Slot Attendant will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service on the casino floor.

Requirements

Must possess basic math skill to make change with coin and currency.
Must know and understand the Title 31 procedures.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming license through the state of Maine.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in slot department preferred, but willing to train if all other qualifications are met.
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Previous customer experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
Knowledge of player tracking system.

Responsibilities

Monitors currency transactions and completes appropriate logs and reports pursuant to Title 31.
Repairs minor machine malfunctions.
Observes slot play for illegal machine tampering/abuse.
Provides customer service.
Maintains the inventory, check in sheets, and reconciling of their assigned bank when in operation.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Approves slot payouts within limits per submitted System of Internal Controls.
Performs minor machine repairs on all slot machines on property.
Continuously walks their assigned areas looking for guests who need service.
Provide courteous and prompt change, jackpot, and minor machine repair service.
Responds to slot machines in a timely manner to resolve guest problems with slot machines.
Notifies Slot Shift Supervisor of any issues, as needed.
Maintains slot floor security by notifying Slot Shift Supervisor of any suspicious activity.
Maintains a working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and regulations as well as company internal controls.
Participates in slot department special projects in a team environment upon request.
Maintains a working knowledge of all games in order to perform minor machine repairs and/or explain game play to guests.
Delivers Excellent Customer Service.
Keep casino floor clean of cups, and push in chairs.
Create an entertainment environment for all guests.
Communicate special promotions to our guest.
Exercise appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention.
Handle & secure keys within departmental guidelines.
Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
