About The Position
The Slim Jim Primary & Secondary Machine Operator works at the B2 location on the B2 schedule and may be placed on any of four lines. The shift begins at 6:00 AM and ends at various times. Safety is the top responsibility. The operator follows GMP and USDA guidelines, completes required paperwork according to Quality guidelines, and supports training and continuous improvement activities. The role also involves operating and adjusting machinery, checking product and packaging, and completing SAP documentation. Overtime and weekend work may be needed.

Responsibilities
- Follow safety requirements, GMPs, and USDA guidelines.
- Complete required paperwork daily according to Quality guidelines and complete SAP documentation.
- Participate in developing, implementing, and sustaining training documentation for team members.
- Support CPS activities, including Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, CIL, Centerline, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team Participation, and CSD.
- Assist in other areas as needed and perform other tasks as directed by the Supervisor, Line Lead, or Cell Lead.
- Understand product types, barcode numbers, and best-by Julian dates.
- Adjust machines and set the correct codes.
- Verify that the correct packaging materials are used for each product.
- Distinguish good product from bad product.
