About The Position
At Conagra Brands’ Troy, Ohio plant, the Slim Jim General Labor associate works on the production line to supply lines and support continuous production. Reporting to the Product Supervisor, the associate monitors and troubleshoots production equipment, performs product checks, collaborates across departments to meet production demand and maintain product quality, and helps keep the work area clean in accordance with food safety and OSHA requirements. The role is in a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts, and may require overtime. Personal protective equipment, including earplugs, is provided.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and use hands to move things.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy.
- Overtime may be needed to meet production demand.
Responsibilities
- Supply production lines to support continuous production flow.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure continuous production.
- Perform product checks to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with all departments to support production demand and maintain product quality standards.
- Help maintain a clean work area in compliance with food safety and OSHA requirements.
