About The Position

This position is responsible for operating production lines, including scales, tape machines, and bagging equipment. The role involves stacking boxes, operating various slicing and packaging machinery, and maintaining packaging code daters. Additional duties as assigned include setting up and operating a loaf cutter.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Must demonstrate safe working habits
• Must be able to lift in excess of 30 pounds frequently, 60 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions
• Work involves bending, lifting and stooping
• Able to interpret, understand and follow instruction and solve problems
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Must be organized to accomplish a variety of tasks
• Must be dependable and possess good follow up skills
• Must understand Lockout/Tagout compliance requirements
• Good verbal and written communication
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
• Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas
• Must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time

• Setting up production lines
• Operating scales, tape machine, and bagging equipment
• Stacking boxes
• Operating Band Saw, Foremax Slicer / Dixie Slicer and Hooper Packaging Equipment
• Setting up and maintaining the packaging code daters
• Setting up and operating the loaf cutter
• Other duties as assigned
