About The Position

This role is for a Slicing Room Worker in the AM Deli Kitchen. Responsibilities include weighing portions of sliced meats to meet package weight requirements, correctly applying sliced meat to preformed packages at a speed of up to 15 CPM, inspecting and accumulating quality packages of finished product for boxing, and packing sliced meat into boxes for scaling. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Must demonstrate safe working habits.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions.
• Work involves bending, lifting, and stooping.
• Must be a self-starter, goes above and beyond, and is willing to do more than expected.
• Looks for ways to improve productivity and works to improve production plan.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player).
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

• Must understand Lockout/Tagout compliance requirements.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities
