Paid Healthcare Training - Become a Sleep Technologist - Entry Level
About The Position
Neurocare's AASM-accredited Sleep Technologist Training Program offers a unique opportunity to earn while you learn, with no prior experience required. This five-week paid training program includes two weeks of classroom instruction and hands-on shadowing, followed by three weeks of overnight mentoring alongside experienced technologists. Upon successful completion, you will be offered a full-time Sleep Technologist position (3 nights/week) at $23/hour, with a pay increase to $28/hour once registered. Neurocare, Inc. has been the largest employer of Sleep Technologists in New England for over 35 years and is a patient-centered, quality-focused organization partnering with academic medical centers, hospitals, and physician groups to deliver state-of-the-art sleep disorder programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience
- Strong technology and computer skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and professional
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Desire to provide exceptional patient care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in patient care or a medical environment
- CPR certification
- Experience working overnight shifts
Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom instruction and hands-on shadowing for two weeks.
- Participate in overnight mentoring alongside experienced technologists for three weeks.
- Perform duties as a full-time Sleep Technologist after successful completion of the training program.
