About The Position

This is a field-based, hands-on clinical sales and business development position representing VieMed’s sleep and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) programs, disease management program, and home respiratory therapy services. The representative identifies and initiates one-on-one relationships with potential referral sources and maintains positive relationships with existing accounts. The role uses clinical and sales expertise to develop strategies that grow business within an assigned territory and advocates for patients by responding to their needs. The representative works with office staff to support prompt, accurate billing and service documentation, including information needed to satisfy third-party payor coverage guidelines. The position requires spending most of the time—80% or more—in the field networking, building relationships, and educating referral sources about VieMed’s programs and services. Referral sources may include sleep specialists, pulmonologists, hospitalists, critical care physicians, cardiologists, internal medicine and family practice providers, ear, nose, and throat providers, hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. The representative is expected to meet or exceed sales quotas and work regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
