About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by acting as a trusted sleep authority and recommending best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create a compelling, customer-centered environment. Sleep Experts help customers find suitable mattresses and improve their sleep while driving individual sales performance and key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and keep the customer at the center of the in-store experience.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Stay aware of competitors, their advertisements, and the services they offer.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Use digital tools and execute Mattress Firm selling programs to support a seamless omnichannel experience.
