About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and recommending best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience, creating a compelling environment centered on the customer. Spanish is preferred.

The Sleep Expert builds strong customer relationships, provides product and technical knowledge, drives individual sales performance and key performance indicators, and supports company values and initiatives. The role also maintains customer relationships after purchase, monitors competitors, and uses social media to support brand awareness and sales. The position requires lifting, pushing, or pulling more than 50 pounds. Compensation is listed as $60,000–$74,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience; eligible roles may also have discretionary bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered in-store environment and cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and services.
• Use social media to positively affect brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
