About The Position
The Sleep Expert elevates and enhances the customer's in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience, creating a compelling and engaging environment centered on the customer. The Sleep Expert builds and maintains customer relationships, provides product and technical knowledge, drives individual sales performance and key performance indicators, and supports company values and initiatives. The role also monitors competitors and uses social media to support brand awareness and sales.
Responsibilities
- Create a customer-centered environment by cultivating strong relationships.
- Provide technical and product knowledge to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
- Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
- Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and services.
- Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
- Lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.
