About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates and enhances customers’ in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role involves learning about sleep products and helping customers find mattresses that meet their needs, while creating an exceptional in-store experience. Sleep Experts execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience in a compelling environment centered on the customer.

The position offers base pay or uncapped commission, with a stated competitive pay range of $55,000 to $68,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience. Additional bonus opportunities may be available for eligible leadership and individual-contributor roles at the Company’s discretion. Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and create an environment where the customer is always at the center.
• Provide technical and product-knowledge information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and the services they offer.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.
