About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates and enhances customers’ in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role involves learning about sleep and Mattress Firm products, executing selling programs with digital tools, and supporting a seamless omnichannel experience that creates a compelling, engaging, customer-centered environment. The position offers a base pay or uncapped commission, with a stated competitive pay range of $48,000–$59,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience. Additional bonus opportunities may be available for eligible roles at the company’s discretion. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and create an environment where the customer is at the center.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and services.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
