About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Sleep Clinical Specialist for their Sleep Center at Galloway. This full-time position involves developing and implementing a training and competency assessment program for the Sleep product line, which includes 48 FTEs. The role requires providing department orientation, training, and ongoing assessment for all Sleep technologists. The specialist will work with technologists and supervisors to enhance employee skills through one-on-one training and clinical rotations, and will develop an on-the-job training program. Additionally, the position is responsible for research direction, statistic design and analysis, outcomes data, and educating staff on sleep research protocols. The specialist will manage the clinical monitoring process, administer clinical trials, and ensure adherence to good clinical practice and FDA regulations. This role also involves developing relationships with 120 referring physicians, managing all accreditation activities to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines, and coordinating all clinical affiliation activities. The specialist will work with each site and Medical Director/Supervisor to standardize protocols and ensure customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all age groups.

Requirements

  • High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
  • BRPT Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Previous operational experience in Sleep medicine.
  • Minimum Required Experience: 5 Years

  • Advanced education in staff development and/or education preferred.
