About The Position

Medline is hiring a Skin Health Sales Specialist to cover eastern Ohio and western/central Pennsylvania. The candidate ideally will be based in the Pittsburgh or Cleveland area. The role provides technical and sales presentation support to help secure new business, support successful customer integration, and promote utilization of established products. It also supports the unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting and troubleshoots established products as needed. The position requires 75% travel, typically 4–5 days per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 3 years of sales or related business experience.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to audiences at various levels.
• Previous experience selling in the hospital and/or healthcare industry.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time, 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present technical proposals explaining how Medline products can meet customer needs and be integrated and implemented with customer systems and equipment.
• Call on potential and existing customers, GPOs, and IDNs in the assigned territory, independently and with other Medline sales representatives, to expand or retain product-line sales.
• Prepare and present customer systems and equipment needs plans to Medline teams, ensuring plans are feasible within cost, time, and environmental constraints.
• Analyze customer systems and product needs and research customer businesses.
• Develop target lists of potential accounts.
• Gather customer data and information and help develop presentations about product enhancements to keep customers current.
• Conduct market research on new product ideas to support product-line expansion.
• Provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting and troubleshoot established products as needed.
