About The Position
A physician position providing care in skilled nursing facilities in Sarasota, Florida. The role is available part-time or full-time and may be structured as W-2 or 1099. Physicians may visit one or two buildings per day, with an average daily census of 22–25 patients. Full-time work is Monday through Friday, with day call coverage from 8 AM to 6 PM. The physician may be eligible for medical directorship at the facilities. The position is associated with a well-established and growing physician group. ACN is not accepted in this region.
Requirements
- Active Florida medical license.
- Board eligible or board certified.
- Personable, compassionate demeanor and strong bedside manner.
Responsibilities
- Provide physician care to skilled nursing facility patients.
- Visit one to two buildings per day.
- Provide day call coverage from 8 AM to 6 PM.
