About The Position
The Skilled Nursing Facility Physician provides care in skilled nursing facilities in Sebring, Florida. The role is open to physicians specializing in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Geriatric Medicine and may be full-time or part-time, as a W-2 employee or 1099 contractor. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday. Physicians have an average daily census of 22–25 patients, visit one to two buildings per day, and provide day call coverage from 8 AM to 6 PM. Eligible physicians may serve as Medical Director at the facilities.
Requirements
- Active Florida medical license.
- Board eligible or board certified.
- Personable, compassionate, and strong bedside manner.
- Specialty in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Geriatric Medicine.
- ACN is not accepted in this region.
Responsibilities
- Care for an average daily census of 22–25 patients.
- Visit one to two buildings per day.
- Provide day call coverage from 8 AM to 6 PM.
- Full-time physicians work Monday through Friday.
