About The Position

ABM is seeking a dependable and experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to support construction operations on active job sites. The position performs a variety of construction support tasks requiring specialized experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The role contributes to project productivity, quality workmanship, and a safe working environment. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The hourly pay range is $20–$22; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Work takes place at active commercial construction sites, with exposure to noise, dust, uneven surfaces, and changing weather conditions. Requirements

At least 2 years of construction-related experience.
Working knowledge of construction practices, tools, and equipment.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials and equipment.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more with assistance when required.
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to perform work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Operate construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Perform material handling, loading, unloading, and site logistics support.
Assist with installation activities and construction layout requirements.
Prepare and maintain work areas to support efficient project execution.
Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as needed.
Read and follow project specifications, instructions, and safety requirements.
Use hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment appropriately.
Support skilled trades and project teams with daily construction activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, and project concerns.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards and project deadlines.
