About The Position

ABM is seeking a motivated and dependable Semi-Skilled Construction Laborer to support construction operations on active semiconductor job sites. This position performs a variety of general and semi-skilled construction tasks requiring basic construction knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The role assists with site preparation, material handling, installation support, equipment operation, and general construction activities while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The listed pay range is $18–$20 per hour. A specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of construction-related experience.
Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to perform physical labor and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more with assistance when required.
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work on active construction sites and navigate uneven terrain.

Nice To Haves

Experience assisting skilled trades in commercial or industrial construction environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and daily construction activities.
Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment.
Support installation crews and skilled trades with project tasks.
Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Perform demolition, excavation, and general labor duties as assigned.
Assist with construction layout, measurements, and project setup.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks under supervision.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow project specifications, work instructions, and safety requirements.
Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, and job site hazards.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople, and team members to meet project goals.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
