About The Position

The Ski Lodge Associate is a seasonal, part-time visitor services position based at Notchview Reservation in Windsor, Massachusetts. Notchview offers more than 25 miles of recreational trails and hosts a community Nordic skiing program in winter, with groomed ski trails, basic visitor amenities, ski rentals, and limited public programming partnerships. The associate supports the lodge’s daily operations and provides front-line service to visitors, including ticket, membership, and rental transactions; information about ski conditions and trails; and assistance with visitor safety and emergencies. The role is snow-dependent, with hours and duration subject to weather and operational needs. The anticipated duration is December 1, 2026 through March 1, 2027, though the season may run from late November through early March. The position is onsite, with up to 28 hours per week, and requires weekend and holiday availability, particularly when snow is on the ground. The associate reports directly to the Ski Lodge Manager; the Stewardship Team Leader is also identified as the reporting contact in the role description. Daily direction is provided by the Lodge Manager. The Trustees of Reservations is a Massachusetts nonprofit conservation and preservation organization that protects and manages properties for public use and enjoyment. It reports having protected more than 50,000 acres, including more than 27,000 acres across over 120 public reservations, and is supported by visitors, supporters, volunteers, and 85,000 member households.
