About The Position

We are recruiting Site Operatives based in Durham to deliver works on Anglian Water clean water sites. The role involves travel and occasional overnight stays. The company specialises in sustainable water asset management solutions across potable water, wastewater and the environment.

Requirements

• Experience working on-site in a labourer capacity.
• Self-motivation and the ability to complete daily tasks with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work safely at heights following relevant training.
• Ability to follow instructions and accept personal responsibility.
• Ability to lift, carry and push equipment.
• Ability to act on initiative, particularly regarding health and safety, and report relevant matters.
• Good driving skills in company vans; driving will be monitored and tracked.
• Willingness to attend training courses as required.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing sites, including unloading and storing building materials and plant.
• Store, handle, use and dispose of materials correctly.
• Carry out physical tasks such as basic timber shuttering, drainage and kerb laying, and mixing and applying materials.
• Operate heavy machinery, such as diggers, dumpers and compressors, in conjunction with CPCS training.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and wear full PPE at all times.
• Follow the Company Safety Handbook and other safety instructions.
• Follow training and reasonable instructions given.
