About The Position

Rogue Community Health is hiring a Site Medical Director for its Medford Health Center Team. In conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Health Center Director (HCD), the position ensures implementation of current clinical best practices and provides leadership and supervisory support to assigned providers. The role also functions as a primary care physician in a team-based, patient-centered medical home.

Rogue Community Health provides primary and preventive care, including on-site and virtual medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, nutrition, and community outreach services. Employees receive a primary work location upon hire, but may be reassigned to another RCH work site to support patient access and operational needs. Employment is at will, with a 90-day probationary period. A criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen are required after a conditional offer is accepted.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an MD or DO residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within one year of employment in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Current, unencumbered Oregon medical license.
• Current DEA registration, NPI, and BLS certification.
• Complete a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen after accepting a conditional offer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of current clinical best practices in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer and Health Center Director.
• Provide leadership and supervisory support to assigned providers.
• Provide primary care as a physician in a team-based, patient-centered medical home.
