About The Position

Rogue Community Health is hiring a Site Medical Director for its Medford Health Center Team. In conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Health Center Director (HCD), the Site Medical Director ensures implementation of current clinical best practices and provides leadership and supervisory support to assigned providers. The role also functions as a primary care physician in a team-based, patient-centered medical home.

Rogue Community Health provides primary and preventive care to patients, including medically underserved community members. Services include on-site and virtual primary and preventive medical care, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, nutrition, and community outreach. Employees are assigned a primary work location upon hire, but may be reassigned to another RCH work site to support patient access and operational needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible within one year of employment in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an MD or DO residency program.
• Current, unencumbered Oregon medical license.
• DEA registration, NPI, and BLS certification.
• Complete a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen after accepting a conditional offer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of current clinical best practices in conjunction with the CMO and HCD.
• Provide leadership and supervisory support to assigned providers.
• Function as a primary care physician in a team-based, patient-centered medical home.
