About The Position

Agilix Solutions is seeking a Site Materials Support Specialist in Glen, Mississippi. The position provides a variety of technical and operational support services for MRO sales and back-office execution. It is primarily internally focused, while also supporting outside sales staff and customer Site Materials accounts. The role includes supporting Site Materials MRO solutions and may involve technical work with other internal teams and projects. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The position reports to the Sr. Site Materials Manager.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with appropriate stakeholders.
• Time-management and organizational skills, with urgency in responding to internal and external customer demands.
• Computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and PDF.
• Excellent listening skills and willingness to ask and answer questions.
• Creative thinking and the ability to develop original concepts to train, service, and sell to internal and external customers.
• Ability to stand or be on one's feet for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain MRO vending machines in customer storerooms; work at multiple Site Materials storeroom accounts.
• Deploy and maintain barcode-scanning solutions for Site Materials accounts and train staff to use them successfully.
• Cross-train to support related Site Materials functions.
• Support Site Materials reporting, metrics, and business-system maintenance.
• Provide inside-sales support, including inventory evaluations and other branch needs.
• Provide feedback on Site Materials business efficiency and areas for improvement.
• Support outside sales staff and internal teams, projects, and opportunities.
