About The Position

DashMart is a DoorDash-owned and operated local-fulfillment center that delivers household essentials and other items. The Site Manager oversees a 5,000–15,000-square-foot distribution center and its local warehouse operating team, ensuring customers receive high-quality service. In some locations, the role also includes oversight of food preparation in a light-prep kitchen. The Site Manager leads and develops Shift Leads and Operations Associates, builds a positive and safe workplace culture, and manages daily warehouse operations, staffing schedules, and labor budgets. The manager is accountable for site-level goals and customer quality metrics, including order accuracy and fulfillment speed. Working with central inventory and training teams, the Site Manager identifies operational challenges using data and leads process improvements that strengthen warehouse performance, quality, and the employee experience. The position requires flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, including some late nights and weekends.

Requirements

At least 3 years of team leadership experience in high-volume operations, such as retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfillment, logistics, or operations.
Track record of developing people and delivering results.
Experience managing high-performing teams of 10 or more employees.
Ability and willingness to support a 24/7 business across multiple shifts.
Ability to solve problems innovatively and work effectively amid ambiguity and rapid change.
Data-first problem-solving skills and experience analyzing data in Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
College degree or relevant professional work experience.
Flexible schedule, including some late-night and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Recruit, lead, coach, and retain a high-performing team of at least three Shift Leads and six Operations Associates.
Set the team up to work safely and productively, build a positive culture, and drive strong employee satisfaction.
Partner with Shift Leads to delegate daily tasks and maintain high team performance.
Own day-to-day operations of a DashMart warehouse, including light-prep kitchen operations at some locations.
Manage scheduling and the site’s labor budget.
Ensure the warehouse meets site-level metric goals.
Lead the team in providing a strong customer experience on every order.
Maintain quality metrics, including order accuracy and fulfillment speed.
Work with central inventory and training teams to provide the team with tools and resources.
Use data to identify operational pain points and inefficiencies.
Design, build, and execute process improvement projects to improve operations, quality metrics, and employee experience.
