About The Position

The Site Lead ensures facility operations follow policies and procedures and coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and guiding team members. The Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent and demonstrates established standards for keeping buildings and facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The role also involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial duties as needed. This role may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience.
One year of customer service experience.
One year of lead or supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Provide leadership and direction to team members.
Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
Take care of property keys and access cards.
Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features and items.
Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
Oversee work quality and confirm job completion with the Area Manager.
Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Obtain any additional certifications or training required for the site type.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Operate specialized equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, and support general janitorial duties as needed.
