About The Position

Maine Oxy is hiring a hands-on, safety-first Site Lead to oversee daily operations at its Manalapan, New Jersey location. The role serves as the primary liaison between Maine Oxy, drivers, and third-party partners, supporting safe, compliant, and efficient helium distribution. Responsibilities combine leadership, logistics coordination, administrative oversight, and operational support, including route and schedule planning, payroll and billing oversight, vehicle maintenance coordination, inventory reporting, DOT compliance, and operational coverage when needed. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday with varied hours. It is a steady, full-time, year-round day-shift role with overtime available. Starting pay is $32 per hour; the listed salary range is $32–$33 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of logistics, transportation, industrial, or distribution experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours of Service.
• Budget oversight experience.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to lift 25–75 pounds and work in an industrial environment.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage site personnel.
• Coordinate driver schedules and plan routes.
• Oversee billing accuracy and inventory reporting.
• Enforce Maine Oxy and third-party policies and procedures.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and escalate safety concerns.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and tube trailer fills.
• Maintain cylinder and trailer fill logs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and Hours of Service regulations.
• Monitor GPS activity and support operational efficiency.
• Fill in as a driver when needed, including trailer swaps and vacation coverage.
• Assist with helium filling and trailer loading as needed.
