About The Position

Interstate, a family-owned janitorial and maintenance company, is hiring a Lead/Working Supervisor for a client site. The position involves performing cleaning duties while leading and motivating staff, training new employees as directed, and managing multiple projects and tasks. The role requires someone self-motivated who can work independently and as part of a team. Schedule: 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Wednesday through Saturday. Pay: $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Knowledge of chemicals and equipment.
• Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and communicating.
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently and bend.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can linings.
• Train new employees as directed.
• Respond to emergency calls and resolve problems.
• Lead and motivate staff at the assigned account.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
