About The Position

The Site Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Head Start program site, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and programmatic regulations. This role is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to children and families while providing strong leadership, mentorship, and collaboration. The Site Administrator fosters a positive and supportive environment for staff, children, and families, promoting excellence in early childhood education and program implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Education Administration, or a related field.
  • Three to five years' experience in early childhood education.
  • Two years in a supervisory or administrative role.
  • Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and state childcare licensing requirements.
  • Familiarity with data management and reporting systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel between sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
