About The Position

The Plant Administrator plays a key role in supporting the daily administrative operations of the facility. This position is responsible for managing visitor protocols, employee communications, site engagement programs, and various administrative systems. Reporting to the Site Director, the Plant Administrator ensures smooth front office operations, supports HR processes, and contributes to a positive employee experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of administrative or office coordination experience---preferable in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with office software and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and manage a positive first impression; confirm appointments and verify identification.
  • Guide visitors through the sign-in process using the Traction Guest tablet system.
  • Manage the AxTraxNG system for key fob access and maintain key fob inventory.
  • Oversee locker and cubby log, timecards, and inventory tracking.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, and termination emails.
  • Manage user and group access for Keep Stock vending machines.
  • Monitor and maintain the camera room.
  • Manage the Swag Store/Inventory and Communication Platforms – ex Simple Texting platform, CMS.
  • Ensure cleanliness and supply levels in conference rooms, front office, and lunchroom.
  • Maintain inventory of office and supply closet materials.
  • Manage site's uniforms/T-shirts, ordering new, coordinate with Vestis on the laundry process
  • Managing the uniform inventory. Stock the PPE closet
  • Ordering safety shoes
  • Handle incoming and outgoing site mail.
  • Coordinate Town Hall meetings, employee lunches, and visitor/contractor activities.
  • Support internal programs such as Bites & Insights and Off-Site Planning.
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the Site Director, Internal Buyer and or HRBP.
  • Support site administrative functions for all departments such as filing, record keeping, data entry.
