About The Position

The Single Face Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machines in the designated department. The role may involve computer-controlled or mechanically based equipment. The operator processes materials according to company specifications, monitors product quality and efficiency, and follows company safety and housekeeping requirements. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Duties may be expanded, and additional duties or special projects may be assigned as business needs dictate. Requirements

Ability to set up and operate various machines.
Ability to run material through machines according to company specifications.
Ability to detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
Ability to maintain accurate inventory entries.
Ability to inspect products and maintain quality while meeting quality and efficiency standards.
Ability to follow safety regulations and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly, and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Ensure the correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
Complete inventory entries accurately.
Inspect products and maintain product quality.
Meet quality and efficiency standards.
Follow company safety policies and report concerns related to required machine maintenance.
Test machine operation periodically.
Take on special projects and additional duties as business needs dictate.
