About The Position

The Single Face Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machines in the designated department. Operators may work with computer-controlled equipment or more mechanically based machines. The role involves processing materials according to company specifications, maintaining product quality and efficiency, and following safety and housekeeping requirements. Duties may be expanded, and additional duties or special projects may be assigned as business needs dictate. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with setting up and operating various machines.
Ability to run material through machines according to company specifications.
Ability to detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
Ability to maintain product quality and meet quality and efficiency standards.
Ability to complete inventory entries accurately.
Ability to follow safety regulations and company safety policies.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Ensure the correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
Complete inventory entries accurately.
Inspect products and maintain product quality.
Meet quality and efficiency standards.
Follow company safety policies and report concerns related to required machine maintenance.
Test machine operation periodically.
Perform special projects and additional duties as business needs dictate.
