About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Sill Base Assembler - 1st Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The schedule is Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, with overtime needs varying daily during the busy season. The hourly range for this position begins at $18.50/hr with the opportunity for pay increase on an annual basis. This role is in a fast-paced environment that helps the workday move quickly, involving lightweight production and assembly work with a variety of job tasks. Production, assembly, warehouse, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Operate and set up production equipment.
Manually fabricate window and door screens and install screen cloth.
Palletize finished goods.
Perform quality checks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Work efficiently with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow.
Follow all safety procedures and promptly report existing or potential hazards to the supervisor or team lead.
Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled hours.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
