About The Position
B&B Manufacturing, LLC, a Solve Industrial Motion Group company, is hiring an Assembler at its La Porte, Indiana site. Reporting to the Sr. Operations Manager, the Assembler assembles components to engineering and quality standards and customer requirements. The role works alongside Machine Operators to meet production levels while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate communicates well and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of warehouse or assembly work experience.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day production assembly tasks, including building conveyor rollers in preparation for further processing.
- Work cross-functionally with other assembly stations.
- Assist with basic machine operating functions.
- Stock and move material correctly throughout the department.
- Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
