About The Position

Safely operate production assembly equipment to produce the required number of parts that meet customer and company quality standards in a timely manner. The role includes operating assembly-line machines and performing production-related quality tasks, operator maintenance, and other assigned duties while complying with company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate production assembly equipment and meet production and quality standards.
Ability to perform production-related quality tasks and complete required quality documentation.
Ability to comply with company policies, safety standards, and calibration procedures.
Ability to work with handheld power tools, including drills, heat guns, screwdrivers, and hammers.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear; frequently climb or balance.
Vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Safely start, load, operate, unload, and shut down production assembly equipment.
Produce the required number of parts that meet customer and company quality standards in a timely manner.
Perform production-related quality tasks, including measuring or gauging parts with handheld gauges, handling non-conforming material, labeling and packaging parts, completing quality documentation forms, and complying with company calibration procedures.
Tend machines such as arbor presses or riveting machines to perform force-fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
Perform operator maintenance on production assembly equipment.
Comply with company policy and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
